M&E Project Site Set-up

Our experience spans a range of industries including FCMG, food and beverage, brewing and distilling, waste, pharmaceutical, chemical and industrial.

We fully understand how to deliver a successful and safe M&E project. This includes the arrangements for health, safety and welfare and managing any potential risks from the start to the completion of a project.

The M&E project site set-up is important because it ensures the project stays within legal boundaries, keeps workers safe, and run smoothly. It helps establish, from the outset, the mindset amongst all involved that the project will be managed in a professional and disciplined way. The role of our dedicated Site Manager is massively important here, as they set the site up and continually maintain and improve the on-site health and safety measures.

Liaison with our customer and other project stakeholders is also key to the success of a project. It is important our team understand the ‘exam question’ and any customer procedures or standards that must be complied with. We are a friendly bunch and put an emphasis on, not only getting on and communicating well, but also providing great customer service.

Our Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, Martin Walker, advises “It’s essential that a M&E project site set-up is done properly and maintained throughout the duration of the job. This includes the physical elements as well as the paperwork and on-site behaviours. When I audit one of our M&E teams, working on a customer site, I am looking, amongst other things, for appropriate signage, security, COSHH arrangements and parking for the Plant being used.”
