  • Welding and Fabrication

    We design, build and install structural steelwork for platforms, lifting beams, access walkways, staircases, etc. For welding and fabrication projects we provide complete in-house solutions from the engineering design stage all the way through to in-service mechanical maintenance. Vogal Group has a dedicated off-site fabrication facility in Peterborough, but we also fabricate on customer sites, where appropriate.

  • Machinery Installation and Relocation

    Vogal Group are specialists in industrial installations offering mechanical installation and machinery relocation services. We have the expertise to deliver new mechanical equipment installation projects, so you can continue to operate painlessly. We use all our available resources to ensure your machinery installation is completed successfully and safely with quality work carried out on your site.

    From on-site moves to the relocation and re-instalment of machinery and factory equipment, our capabilities lie in relocating both precision machinery, heavy machinery and industrial equipment. Our experience includes where machinery is decommissioned but will be needed again in the future. We have removed existing machinery and moved them from the current site to a secure storage facility awaiting reinstallation in the future. Our lifting team are highly qualified in the safe practice of lifting operations, utilising qualified banksmen and slingers to ensure crane and slinging operations are performed safely.

  • Pipework Installations

    Vogal Group design, fabricate, install and maintain pipework for a broad range of industrial and commercial applications. Our team is equipped to handle pipework installation projects of all sizes, from small bore heating systems to larger pipework installations. We design a custom pipework solution that meets your exact needs. This starts with an assessment of your requirements, including the type of system needed, the size and layout of the space, and any regulations or guidelines that you must comply with. We understand the importance of using the correct materials for each application, and our team is knowledgeable about the properties and suitability of each material, allowing us to recommend the best option for your project.

    Once you have approved the engineering design, we get to work on the installation.   • Pre-demolition Projects

    Vogal Group have extensive experience in the safe delivery of pre-demolition projects. Pre-demolition is the process of preparing an industrial or commercial facility and its surroundings for demolition. We address all equipment, piping, utilities, electrical, instrumentation, vessels and containers (e.g. tanks) directly or indirectly associated with a process area or plant site. It is an essential step to ensure the subsequent demolition runs smoothly and safely with no detrimental environmental impacts.

    We prepare our pre-demolition projects carefully, beginning with a site survey to create an accurate plan of action. A subsequent pre-demolition project typically includes the following steps:

    • Decommissioning of machinery and plant assets.
    • Preparation of Equipment For Maintenance (POEFM). This involves clearing, cleaning, disconnecting, and tagging.
    • Air gapping and isolation. Creating an easy to see and provable gap between what stays and goes.
    • Dismantling, recovery, removal and disposal of equipment that is not part of the demolition scope.
    • Managing the decommissioning of utilities such as gas and energy supplies.
    • Physical removal and disposal of assets.
    • Customer audit and signoff of the pre-demolition phase ahead of the demolition phase.

    We manage all our pre-demolition projects with health, safety and environmental aspects as high priorities. Vogal Group are often employed as the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on CDM compliance projects.   • Factory Installations

    Whether it is an on-site move, the installation of new production lines, or complete factory installations, our team has considerable experience at manufacturing facilities across the UK. This M&E project experience includes de-commissioning, relocation, refurbishment, re-instalment and re-commissioning of equipment.

    Our engineers carry out initial assessments of entire lines, including the creation of detailed plans to install your equipment with maximum efficiency. Our designers, mechanical engineers, electricians, fabricators, welders and pipefitters come together to manufacture, build and test as appropriate, before installation.

    Vogal Group handle complete factory installations including:

    • Removal of old systems from buildings.
    • Reconditioning of building interiors.
    • Provision of a fully compliant electrical installation (e.g. new transformers, extractor units, distribution boards and lighting).
    • Pipework installations, such as compressed air, chilled water and domestic hot water.
    • We work closely with international suppliers to source new machinery where required.
